Book Reviews
“What do I think about the book, well i think it is superb and very educating for those who care to read it. It has given me another twist and more better explanation to an already confused topic in the Christendom today. I will like to state that this book seem to be well research and laid in a systemic
manner that makes reading easier and provides a lot of answers for the
probing mind. Well done for such a book and may God Bless you.”

“The new book, “The Approaching Apocalypse” by Michael Fortner, has unraveled the mystery of the most mysterious book of the Bible. The new information related in this stunning work, will, at the very least, completely change the approach to the preaching of the gospel. It will give us a new perspective on the return of Christ and will give all Christians pause about this glimpse of the future and how they will live in the present.
With exhaustive research, Mr. Fortner has pulled out all of the stops as he looks at Apocalyptic symbolism. And one of the greatest things about this work is that you do not have to be a steadfast Bible reader to understand and appreciate what the author is saying. His style is straightforward and easy to understand. But do not be fooled by those words. His style also offers the reader the intrigue to keep reading right to the end. This is a book that you have a tough time “putting down.”
He starts out with a good preliminary cache of information to get the average person on board. He discusses the basics of Bible prophecy in clear, concise terms. He makes it clear that Revelations is not an allegory but that the information offered in it, is clearly factual, if you understand how to interpret it. And this is what this book is all about. A detailed and meticulous discussion of what everything in Revelations means and how to interpret each portion of this important book of The Bible. But at the same time, Fortner makes it clear that the symbolism in Revelations can be taken too far at times. One must use their own intellect to not only interpret the symbolism but to also understand its meaning and significance. This first chapter is essential in understanding the contents of the rest of this book. The author’s attention to detail here, makes the rest of the book easily understood and appreciated. . . .
His theory is played out eloquently and plausibly in his work. . . . But his determination of what nation represents this beast from the Abyss, is truly eye opening and difficult with which to argue. His explanation is complete and thorough as he takes the reader through the historical lineage of countries of the beast and ultimately how we can know them in the 21st century. Mr. Fortner’s work is monumental, to say the least. His detail and explanation lead the reader to exactly where they would want to go, if not meticulously guided by a knowledgeable hand. The volume of research necessitated for this work is something to be admired. Few stones, if any, have been left unturned in order to unravel the mysteries that the Book of Revelations have always presented. The reader may not always agree with Fortner’s conclusions or his look into the future, but his style and his knowledge are to be admired and respected. He presents very powerful and compelling findings, based on the voluminous research he has conducted.” — by J.E.B.
